Free agency can be a kick in the face for some fans, and sometimes even some players. One of the starters of last season’s Denver Broncos team has left the Mile High City to go to the east coast.
The Broncos have lost center Connor McGovern, as he has come to an agreement on a 3-year deal worth $27 million.
There was hope that the Broncos were going to be able to re-sign McGovern, but it just wasn’t meant to be. McGovern played all 32 games over the last two seasons and he was the team’s starting center once Matt Paradis left in free agency last year for the Carolina Panthers.
