The Denver Broncos used the 40th overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft on SMU wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
Sutton was projected by many to go in the middle of the first round to the Dallas Cowboys, who were also holding out hope, reportedly, that he would last to their pick in the middle of round two.
That obviously didn’t turn out to be the case and instead of being Dez Bryant’s replacement in Dallas, he could be the heir apparent to Demaryius Thomas with the Denver Broncos.
So why Sutton?
