Looks like the back-to-back Super Bowl winning offensive coordinator and Super Bowl 50 head coach will not be leading the offense this season. The Denver Broncos and Gary Kubiak have ultimately decided against the long time Broncos coach heading the offense this season.
The thought was in two parts. The first part was that Denver and Kubiak did not agree on offensive schemes and concepts. Second part of it was that Kubiak wanted to bring back Rick Dennison, who was the Denver Broncos offensive coordinator during the team’s Super Bowl 50 win. In the two years with Dennison as the offensive coordinator, the Denver Broncos offense struggled.
