As much as I’ve been known for being an optimist, I think it’s only fair to look at both sides of the coin when talking about the Denver Broncos and the possible outcomes of the 2017 season.
The Broncos are coming off of a 9-7 season, which is somewhat surprising given the fact that they had some serious stuff going on behind the scenes with head coach Gary Kubiak and his staff, they were breaking in a brand new starting quarterback, and there were a plethora of injuries to deal with.
The fact that last year’s team won nine games is amazing when you look at all of the different factors that went into last season, but the Broncos almost had to treat themselves as a five or six win team over the offseason to make sure they don’t fall into a rut of mediocrity this year.
