Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders got into a traffic accident Tuesday morning and was cited, along with another driver, for careless driving.
Sanders was driving a Range Rover down a median, with emergency blinkers flashing, when an 18-year-old driver cut into the median and collided with the SUV, said Deputy Chad Teller, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
The collision happened at about 7:45 a.m. on southbound South Chambers Road near Mainstreet in Parker.
Sanders complained of a headache. The teen driver complained of a sore right hand. Neither driver was taken to a hospital.
