The Denver Broncos selected cornerback Isaac Yiadom in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft. Yiadom, like many rookies do early on, struggled.
Yiadom reportedly suffered a separated right shoulder during a week 13 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
He missed the following week with the injury but was able to play the final two weeks of the season, recording five tackles, two passes defended and an interception (the first of his NFL career).
The surgery will knock him out for a little while, but per Klis, the expectation is that he will be ready for training camp.
