The Broncos are placing KJ Hamler on injured reserve after he aggravated a hamstring injury in practice Wednesday, a source confirmed to The Post on Saturday.
Hamler had missed the past three games with a hamstring injury suffered in practice in the lead up to Denver’s Week 10 game at Tennessee and looked to be nearing a return, but suffered a setback and now will miss a minimum of four games. That means he will be out until at least a Week 17, Jan. 1 game at Kansas City and could mean his season is over.
Moving Hamler to IR means the Broncos have two spots on their 53-man roster.
