After sitting out Wednesday’s practice with some minor knee soreness, the Broncos starting quarterback, Case Keenum returned to practice for the Broncos today. This was expected, but whenever your starting quarterback returns to practice, it is noteworthy.
The other good news here is that starting right tackle Jared Veldheer appears to be progressing through to the concussion protocol. He didn’t practice today but was seen on the field with a helmet on and observing. This shows he’s close and probably will be cleared to play by Sunday’s game. Veldheer has been a nice addition to the Broncos offensive line which has been playing very well so him being out there will definitely be a plus.
