ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – In a year when his hometown Denver Broncos have won the Super Bowl and Daniel Hailpern was in the seats at Levi’s Stadium to see the Broncos’ 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers this past February, Hailpern have another football dream come true Thursday night when he will take the stage in Chicago alongside NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to announce the Broncos’ first-round pick.
Oh, and Hailpern has done all this since a 2014 bone marrow transplant saved his life. Hailpern is a Denver-area high school student and cancer survivor.
Hailpern will be inside the Roosevelt Theater for the draft with the help of Make-a-Wish Colorado.
