DeMarcus Ware forged his Pro Bowl career on durability. He continues to learn how to deal with injuries, and his back flare-up against the Indianapolis Colts taught him a valuable lesson.
"When I get back out there, I need to ease into it," said Ware, who leads the Broncos in sacks at 6.5. "I didn't feel it against Green Bay, but I probably should have played a little less. I don't think I came back too soon. I just need to gradually build up."
Ware said he's suffering a "structural issue in his lower back.
