Hilco Streambank has kicked the marketing of Mile High Stadium naming rights into high gear, extending the offer deadline to Monday, in part to give bidders a chance to work through concerns about the whether their company will pass NFL scrutiny.
Until now the company tasked with selling bankrupt Sports Authority’s assets has been focused on clearing merchandise out of the Englewood-based retailer’s 460 stores and finding a buyer for intellectual property such as its e-commerce site, executive vice president Jack Hazan said.
Hilco Streambank has only recently turned its attention to marketing the right to hang a name on the home field of the Super Bowl 50 champion Denver Broncos.
