Now that the Denver Broncos have hired Mike McCoy to be their offensive coordinator, it stands to reason he could start bringing some of his friends along with him. One player that could make some sense for the Broncos in free agency is 31-year old Danny Woodhead, who is a running back by trade but has been incredibly productive as a receiver throughout his career.
Woodhead suffered a season ending injury after two games this season, and certainly has some baggage as far as his injury history, but played a full 16 game slate as recently as 2015 when he was spectacular for the Chargers.
