Dallas police suspend investigation involving Broncos' Aqib Talib

The Dallas police department Friday suspended an investigation into an alleged aggravated assault involving Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib, citing lack of evidence.

"Based on the interviews and the evidence available the (investigation) is suspended until any further leads," read an email issued by the Dallas police.

Talib and his brother Yaqub were interviewed after an investigation into reports that a black male fired a gun outside the Luxx Nightclub in Dallas on April 8. However, the police never identified Aqib Talib or his brother as being involved in the shooting.

Hanney Kamal, general manager of the Luxx Nightclub, which is on the block where the shooting happened, told The Dallas Morning News he was there on April 8, and that the Talibs were there during a closing-time argument.
