Cody Latimer was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, but didn’t make much of an impact during his rookie season. He caught just two passes for 23 yards, but will have to step up in 2015. Denver allowed Wes Welker to walk away in free agency this offseason, which could open up a role for Latimer.
Why does Latimer need to step up for the Broncos heading into the 2015 season?
Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are going to be the top two wide receivers on the Broncos’ depth chart heading into the 2015 season, but they need a legitimate third receiver for Peyton Manning.
