When Alex Singleton was lost for the entire season with an ACL injury, it put enormous pressure on the Denver Broncos to find someone capable of replacing him.
Justin Strnad has performed admirably in place of Singleton and has been a consistent defender against the run and pass. It’s been really nice to see him step up after being a special team’s player for most of his career.
However, I think one player deserves a lot of credit and it’s the man beside him. Cody Barton, who was signed to a one-year deal this offseason, has been an absolute revelation at inside linebacker and is on pace to have the best season in his sixth year in the National Football League.
