C.J. Anderson is just different this offseason. The Denver Broncos running back was expected to do big things in his first year under Gary Kubiak but between nagging injuries, a few extra pounds and an attempt to ease into full-form, his year was underwhelming.
With a new contract in hand and a certain seniority status in the running back room, Anderson is taking a greater accountability for the offense’s performance.
“I think we’re better as a group,” he said frankly. “We’re a lot better as a group. Another part of it, we don’t want to rely on the defense too much.
