ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- When C.J. Anderson was an hour or two from being a Miami Dolphins running back earlier this offseason, the Denver Broncos showed the fourth-year running back how much he means to them.
When they matched the $18 million offer sheet from the Dolphins, they also showed Anderson what they expected of him.
They added to that expectation by drafting a fullback, Andy Janovich, in the sixth round. And Thursday night, when the Broncos open the season in a primetime Super Bowl rematch against the Carolina Panthers they hope Anderson shows that he's ready for it all.
