Christopher Cox has a fan club

For about 15 minutes, Broncos tight end Vernon Davis and three of his teammates were led to believe they were prepared. A bag of autographed Broncos paraphernalia hung from Davis's fingertips and a smile that matched his swagger spread across his face.

"Wash your hands for at least 30 seconds," the nurse ordered. "And you'll need to put on these yellow gowns. We can't have any germs around Christopher."

With safety Shiloh Keo and offensive linemen Robert Myers and Cameron Jefferson by Davis' side, the Broncos marched through the seventh floor of Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora, all donning their snug gowns and latex gloves.
