So when former Chargers running back and NFL Network analyst LaDainian Tomlinson said in March that there are no shutdown cornerbacks in today's NFL, it struck a nerve in Harris and some of the other top defensive backs around the league.
"We go off touchdowns," said Harris, a two-time second-team All-Pro selection.
