Chris Harris Jr. to accept team recognition in Colorado House of Representatives

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Some of the Denver Broncos players have bristled at times this offseason at what they have perceived as a lack of recognition on a nation level after the team’s win in Super Bowl 50.

But home is where the heart is, and the Broncos will be recognized plenty Wednesday as cornerback Chris Harris Jr. will be in the state capitol building to accept a tribute on the team’s behalf.

Harris will in the Colorado House of Representatives at 2 p.m. (Mountain time) for a formal Super Bowl 50 tribute to recognize the Broncos’ contributions to the city of Denver and the state of Colorado.
