ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – No player in the Denver Broncos defense played more in the regular season than cornerback Chris Harris Jr. did, and Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Friday Harris is once again ready for a full workload in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
Harris, who suffered a left shoulder injury in the Broncos’ regular-season finale against the San Diego Chargers, practiced fully through the week and Kubiak said the two-time Pro Bowl selection has shown he’s ready to face the New England Patriots’ high-powered passing attack.
“I think Chris is fine,’’ Kubiak said after Friday's practice. “He had a good week … Everything I’ve seen this week in practice tells me Chris is fine, ready to go … He’s had a really good week and I think he’s feeling a lot better than going into last week’s game.
