ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders tussled with each other during a contentious training camp practice session on Monday.
The players grabbed and pushed each other and exchanged heated words after both went after a pass aggressively during team drills.
Even after the ball fell incomplete, the two kept barking at each other and Sanders at one point walked off to the sideline and tossed his helmet to the ground.
The squabble drew a rebuke from coach Gary Kubiak.
“They’re just tired of going at each other, but we’ve got to keep our composure,” Kubiak said.
