The Broncos have traded sixth-year offensive tackle Chris Clark to the Houston Texans in exchange for a seventh-round 2016 draft pick, the team announced Monday.
The deal, which the Broncos and Texans worked out on Sunday, makes second-year player Michael Schofield a swing tackle.
The Broncos have no imminent plans to add another tackle to its offensive line, but it is always on the lookout to add depth.
Clark, who was claimed off waivers from Minnesota in 2010, appeared in 69 career games (27 starts) and seven postseason games (four starts) for the Broncos during the last five seasons.
