Former Broncos backup quarterback Chad Kelly has signed with the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced Monday.

Kelly, who was drafted with the last pick of the 2017 NFL draft, earning him the “Mr. Irrelevant” title, was a fan favorite during his time in Denver backing up quarterback Case Keenum.
The former Ole Miss quarterback’s time in Denver was cut short after he was arrested in late October 2018 for allegedly entering a stranger’s home, sitting on their couch and mumbling incoherently.
