The Russell Wilson era of the Denver Broncos is all but over and ended with a whimper.
The former nine-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl winner (at the expense of the Broncos) was thought to be the guy to solidify the QB position for the Broncos, a position since the retirement of Peyton Manning had been passed around like a note in 8th grade study hall. Instead, what he brought was more disappointment and at significant financial cost.
Now, as Wilson sits the bench for the second straight week for the regular season final in Las Vegas, all attention turns to the debate as to who will replace Wilson.
