Cedric Cobbs, former Broncos RB, arrested on prostitution count

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Former Arkansas and NFL running back Cedric Cobbs has been arrested on a charge of promoting prostitution.

Pulaski County jail records show the 34-year-old Cobbs was booked into jail about 1:30 a.m. Friday. No attorney was listed for him.

An arrest report says Cobbs drove a woman to a hotel Thursday night where she had arranged to have sex for money with an undercover officer. The report says Cobbs was arrested in the parking lot by other officers.

Cobbs played for the Razorbacks from 1999 to 2003 and one season each for the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.
