As Carlos Henderson realized his dream of playing in the NFL had become a reality, he wasn’t expecting the start of his journey to turn down a dead end street. Henderson was drafted by the Broncos in 2017 to be a prolific threat to opposing defenses as a speedy possession wide receiver.
Those expectations weren’t met as Henderson struggled in training camp catching the ball, and fielding punts and kicks. His season ended before it could officially begin with a thumb injury that sat him out for all of 2017.
On top of that, Henderson was recently arrested in January for Marijuana possession and consumption
Henderson’s journey has gotten off to an upsetting start but, I’m a firm believer in the mantra “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
