SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Daniel Hailpern, a Denver-area high school sophomore and cancer survivor who has hosted an NFL/Broncos themed show broadcast throughout Children’s Hospital Colorado since early in the 2014 season, will be in Levi’s Stadium Sunday to see his hometown team played in Super Bowl 50.
Hailpern spent nine months as a patient at Children's, before and after his bone marrow transplant. He has been hosting is football show since Week 2 of the 2014 NFL season. It's broadcast throughout the hospital -- Channel 45 on each room's television -- to children, like him, who are being treated at the massive hospital.
