Carolina (Christian McCaffrey), Kansas City (Kareem Hunt), Jacksonville (Leonard Fournette) and New Orleans (Alvin Kamara) all surged into the postseason behind the stellar rookie backs who took the league by storm. The most important performance from a rookie at the position, Corey Clement’s giant game in the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory, came from a player who wasn’t even drafted.
So, yes, the 2018 class of backs has a high bar to reach.
