We’ve been following the position switch of Brendan Langley from corner to receiver this offseason, but there’s another player on Denver’s roster attempting to play a new position.
Former undrafted free agent, Bug Howard, comes to Denver via the AAF where he was able to gain valuable reps at a new position. Howard played wide receiver in his four years at UNC, and also coming out in the draft.
His scouting profile fits well for a position switch as he was a big receiver at 6’5” 220lbs with strong hands, but lacked the top end speed needed to consistently win on the outside.
