ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, who is one of the league’s highest-profile players, said he is “100 percent with’’ the players who have kneeled during the national anthem in the season's first two weeks or raised their fists, but also “has huge respect’’ for the flag.
One of Miller’s teammates – linebacker Brandon Marshall – has kneeled for the national anthem before each of the Broncos' first two games. Marshall and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who was the first NFL player to either sit or kneel during the anthem this season, were teammates at the University of Nevada.
