Just how happy was Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall with his four-year, $32 million extension Tuesday?
Marshall may appreciate the deal a little more because of the path he took to get here. He was cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars three times before he landed on Broncos' practice squad in 2013. He was signed to Denver's active roster on Dec. 24, 2013, and has been on the active roster ever since.
"I will earn every penny," Marshall said. "[Cut] three times, twice in one week ... all of that ran through my mind [Tuesday].
