Linebacker is going to be a need for the Denver Broncos during this offseason. However, it looks as if they are looking to re-tool the inside linebackers. They have started with special teams standout Corey Nelson.
According to Nicki Jhabvala, Corey Nelson will not be re-signed when free agency begins in March. To me, this comes as a bit of a surprise. With Denver looking to improve at the inside linebacker position. Nelson was very durable during the first stint. However, he left in free agency to get a starting spot.
After stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he found himself back in Denver.
