According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos have waived rookie wide receiver, Mark Chapman.
If you remember, Chapman was the first overall pick in the CFL draft and joined the Broncos to replace Carlos Henderson’s roster spot after he decided not to show up to Training Camp.
Chapman played primarily on the Broncos third-team offense throughout camp, but did flash some potential during those reps. He finished the preseason with 5 receptions for 42 yards.
With Chapman being waived, he will have to make it through the waiver wire without being claimed to be eligible to be placed on the Broncos 10-man Practice Squad.
