With all the moves the Denver Broncos made during NFL Draft weekend, it was only a matter of time when the team would make some roster cuts to accumulate those moves. Paul Cornick and Jeremy Kelley were the first players to receive the ax.
The Broncos announced on Monday that they have waived both offensive lineman Paul Cornick and wide receiver Jeremy Kelley from the roster. With the Broncos drafting nine players and signing another nine as undrafted free agents, it was apparent that they were going to begin the process of clearing up roster space.
Jeremy Kelley comes as no surprise to me.
