After selecting 10 players in the NFL draft and also agreeing to terms with seven other undrafted players, the Broncos trimmed the roster on Monday.
Denver announced it waived tight end Bug Howard, safety Tyvis Powell, and defensive linemen Deyon Sizer and Jay-Tee Tiuli.
Howard, in his second year as an undrafted pro out of North Caronlina, is the first eliminated from a crowded tight end room. Noah Fant is the team’s No. 1 at the position, while the Broncos signed Nick Vannett in free agency and drafted Albert Okwuegbunam in the fourth round out of Missouri.
