It was a tale of two halves.
The first half was one Denver fans have been waiting for: a dominant defense with a potent offense that ran off to a 20-0 lead over the heavily favored Vikings in Minneapolis. The second half featured a team that’s been seen far too often in 2019 — one in which couldn’t close out a game despite carrying a lead.
The Broncos lost 27-23 to the Vikings in possibly the biggest heartbreaking game of the season. So far. With six games to go, Denver sits at a 3-7 record. Well, at least the draft position is better.
