Is it time to start Bo-lieving in the Denver Broncos? Probably not, since its just the second preseason game. However, rookie Bo Nix has been impressive so far and he’ll get his first start against the Green Bay Packers tonight.
Game Preview
After an impressive first outing against the Indianapolis Colts where Nix threw 15/21 for 125 yards and a touchdown, he’ll look to build on that success against the first-team defense of the Packers in his second game. In their joint practice on Friday, Payton avoided heaping any praise on the rookie, but he was pleased with how the joint practice ran.
