The Broncos and linebacker Von Miller made their presence felt in the NFL this year, winning Super Bowl 50. They may do the same at ESPN’S annual award show, the ESPYs.
Miller was nominated for best championship performance for his “Vonster” showing in the Super Bowl. The Denver Broncos were nominated for best team.
The Broncos were nominated alongside other championship teams, including the Alabama Crimson Tide, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Cleveland Cavaliers, Villanova Wildcats and UConn Huskies.
Miller, on the other hand, will face some steep competition from Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James who dominated the NBA Finals, United States Women’s National Team midfielder Carli Lloyd for her epic performance at the Women’s World Cup, and Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby for his excellent display during the Stanley Cup Final.
