There is little certainty for whom the Broncos will feature as their primary tight end this year.
Troy Fumagalli can hardly wait to make his case.
The former Wisconsin tight end, picked No. 156 (fifth round) in last year’s NFL draft, spent his rookie season sidelined with a sports hernia. He was held out the majority of training camp and got placed on injured reserve in September. Fumagalli’s aim is to be back at full health in April, well before OTAs begin in May.
“That’s my goal, just to be ready in a month,” said Fumagalli.
