Clark had been working as a backup at left tackle in recent weeks after opening training camp on the first team at right tackle, the position at which he was the Broncos' starter for their first five games last season. He started twice more in the regular season and in the playoff loss to Indianapolis as an extra tight end, where he started six games in 2011.
His best season with the Broncos came in 2013, when he stepped into the starting lineup at left tackle after Ryan Clady succumbed to a Lisfranc injury in the dying moments of the Week 2 win at the New York Giants.
