The Broncos today flipped a 2024 sixth-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Rams for starting linebacker Kenny Young and a ’24 seventh-round selection.
On Saturday, the Broncos acquired Minnesota outside linebacker Stephen Weatherly and a 2023 seventh-round pick for a 2022 seventh-rounder.
The Broncos (3-4) have been decimated by injuries at both the outside and inside linebacker spots. They return to practice Tuesday.
Young, 26, started all seven games for the Rams this year, posting totals of 46 tackles, two sacks and 384 defensive snaps.
