DENVER — The Denver Broncos will honor more than 125 cancer survivors as part of the team’s ‘Fight Like A Bronco’ campaign during halftime of Sunday’s Salute to Survivors game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The campaign is in conjunction with the NFL’s recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. As part of the team’s new ‘Fight Like A Bronco’ platform, the team will now celebrate the courage of all survivors—men, women and children—of cancer.
Broncos Charities will make a $20,000 donation in honor of breast cancer survivors to Susan G. Komen Colorado in addition to two separate $20,000 donations to the American Cancer Society directed to support efforts for pediatric cancer research and colorectal screening.
