The Broncos will place starting right tackle Menelik Watson in season-ending injured reserve and sign former Bills tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, an NFL source confirmed.
Watson had been dealing with a calf injury in recent weeks, but suffered a foot injury last Sunday in the Broncos’ loss at Philadelphia.
9News first reported the roster moves.
The Broncos signed Watson as a free agent in March to take over the starting job from Donald Stephenson, an earlier free agent signing who struggled in his first season with the Broncos with both injury and performance. Watson signed a three-year, $18.
