The Broncos on Tuesday agreed to terms with safety Shiloh Keo and waived rookie defensive lineman Kyle Peko.
Keo, who was released while serving his two-game suspension, returns to provide depth in the secondary, where rookies Justin Simmons and Will Parks are the only reserves. Simmons sported a cast on his left wrist Monday, following the Broncos’ win against Indianapolis, and said he was scheduled to undergo further testing that afternoon.
Keo, 28, first signed with the Broncos last December, when their secondary was riddled with injuries, and played through the postseason. In five games, playoffs included, he made six tackles, broke up one pass and intercepted another.
