DENVER --The Denver Broncos had questions about the injury status of four starters coming into Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. It turned out that two -- cornerback Aqib Talib and linebacker Brandon Marshall - did not improve enough to play in a key AFC West game.
Talib and Marshall were among the Broncos' seven gameday inactives. That news was tempered somewhat by the return of linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who will be in uniform for the first time since he fractured his left forearm in the Broncos' Week 2 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
