Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett began assembling his offensive staff Wednesday by reaching an agreement with Justin Outten to become the offensive coordinator and Klint Kubiak to be the quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator.
Outten’s agent announced his appointment via social media and a league source confirmed that Kubiak is returning for a second tour with the Broncos.
Outten and Kubiak replace Pat Shurmur and Mike Shula, respectively, who spent the past two years with the Broncos.

Outten, 38, spent the last three years as the Packers’ tight ends coach on the same staff as Hackett, and Kubiak, 34, was the Minnesota Vikings’ offensive coordinator in 2021.
