Kendall Hinton spent three weeks of his practice squad tenure this fall serving as essentially Denver’s No. 3 wide receiver.
Now he’s getting promoted. Two sources confirmed to The Denver Post that Hinton is being signed to the active roster Monday.
Hinton had to be added to the 53-man roster in order to play again this season because he had already been elevated from the practice squad three times this year, the maximum allowed by the NFL.
Hinton (four catches for 86 yards) has essentially been the Broncos’ third receiver behind Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, playing at least 30 snaps in three straight games before finding himself inactive for Thursday night’s loss against the Colts.
