The days of contract holdouts and tense negotiations ended with slotted numbers for draft picks. The Broncos, as such, are wasting little time in signing their draft class. Friday, they agreed to four-year deals with their three seventh-round selections: Northwestern quarterback Trevor Siemian, Tulane cornerback Taurean Nixon and Oklahoma State safety Josh Furman.
Furman’s contract details surfaced on Thursday. He will receive a $2.332-million deal with a $52,784 signing bonus. Siemian and Nixon will make slightly more in signing bonus money per their higher draft slots.
Siemian, an athletic quarterback, is recovering from a torn ACL in his knee.
