ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have free-agent tight end Richard Gordon, a five-year veteran who has logged 34 total games with five starts. He will wear No. 89.
To make room for Gordon, the Broncos waived Mitchell Henry.
Standing at 6-feet-4-inches and 265 pounds, Gordon has totaled four career receptions for 14 yards with one touchdown. He joins the Broncos after signing with the Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent in March.
Though Gordon primarily lines up at tight end, he has played fullback and special teams, where he owns 18 career tackles.
